This is one of the most simple and blunt vintage looking Patek replica watches. The Calatrava range is known for their simplicity and these babies are as expensive as simple as they come.

The Patek Philippe is a luxury indicator from this point of view but when you’re looking at a simple piece like this one it’s easy to get fooled. The only thing I don’t like here is the tourbillon inscription on the dial inside the small seconds hand.  It could have done way better without it.

Movement is clearly visible through the back case and the rotor is simply but well engraved with the Patek logo and brand name. Japanese automatic is good quality in my book and this piece keeps time well and it’s way more reliable in time than the cheaper Asia movements.

It’s one of those simple and clean dress watches in my opinion. It can also very well be an easy casual piece because it’s that simple and it’ll go with everything black. It’s not an eye-catcher that’s for sure but it’s a clear statement of style and the vintage feel will always be appreciated.
